Emilie discovered her passion for music at a young age singing along to her mother's RnB records. She had her first stage performance singing solo at age 4 and continued performing throughout her childhood whether it be singing, dancing or acting.

At age 12 Emilie discovered her talent for writing music and used song writing as somewhere to release her emotions. She directly approached the subject of being bullied for many years at school in a song she wrote for her GCSE Music exam, 'Isolation' achieving a grade A.

At age 15 she had her first taste of a recording studio environment for her work experience at a recording studio in Cardiff. This also led to a performance at Cardiff's 'Party in the Park'.

After school Emilie decided to learn more about her trade in Music College and was introduced to MIDI Sequencing and Digital Music Creation Software. She was also introduced to online social networking sites such as MySpace as a way to reach potential fans. She started writing for her first album in 2006 and posted her music online.

After only 8 months at college and within 3 months of posting her music online she was offered her first record deal with an independent label. There were unfortunately financial difficulties and consequently Emilie could not release her record with this label and decided to move on.

Emilie spent some time emerging into a strong and alternative artist and collaborating with guitarists, songwriters and DJ's to develop the new style of music she had created. Now an accomplished performer and with a catalogue of fresh sounding underground songs, she is ready to present herself.

After several more offers from labels and management Emilie decided to work closely with two companies, one in the UK, Staveley Records and one in the USA, JAMS management.

The first official release came on 'Unsigned Talent 2007' through Staveley Records. This was a compilation of the best unsigned artists and bands and featured her song 'Fooled'.

Emilie first met Jams Management through MySpace and her first trip to the USA as a performer in September 2007 was hugely successful. Working alongside people that have worked with the likes of Justin Timberlake, Christina Aguilera, Avril Lavigne and Kelly Clarkson to name a few, she gained a wealth of experience and returned in December 2007 for a number of USA performances.

Now on the cusp of stardom, Emilie is set to pave the way for a new generation of musicians creating digital music and developing new genres. She breaks the mould of British female artists and is not afraid to stand up and be different.
